INGREDIENTS
- Swordfish steaks... 1 pound, cut in half
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil... 2 Tbsp., plus a little extra
- Garlic Powder... 1 tsp.
- Lemons... 2 large, divided, plus extra slices to garnish
- Sea Salt... ¼ tsp. or to taste
- Green Onions (scallions)... 2 to 4 chopped
- White Wine... 2 to 4 Tbsp.
Instructions
- Preheat Oven to 375 degrees.
- Grease a 2.5 quart or similar size baking dish or baking pan, just big enough to hold the two steaks.
- Drizzle 1 and ½ Tbsp. olive oil on the bottom of the baking dish, ½ tsp of the garlic powder, and squeeze the juice of one lemon, and some sea salt.
- Place the swordfish steaks on top.
- Drizzle rest of olive oil, squeeze the other lemon, and sprinkle the rest of the garlic powder and salt on top of the steaks.
- Sprinkle the chopped green onion on the top.
- Pour the white wine on top.
- Let it sit and marinade for 15 minutes.
- Bake at 375 degrees on center oven rack until cooked through or approximately 18-22 minutes.. Cook until the fish is even white color all the way through, tender to a fork when touched, and no longer opaque.
- Transfer to a serving plate, pouring the remaining lemon sauce from the pan over the swordfish and serve.
